This one-hour workshop is designed for highland dancers, teachers, and parents who want to build real, functional turnout — without twisting hips, forcing positions, or sacrificing long-term hip health.

You’ll learn the best exercises and unique training tips to help dancers:

  • Build the specific strength needed to support turnout

  • Improve stability and control so turnout doesn’t disappear halfway through a dance

  • Understand how range of motion, muscular strength, and body alignment all work together

We’ll break down how to teach and train turnout properly so dancers can develop strong, stable, and healthy hips, helping to reduce injury risk while improving performance.
